Station and Sensor Batteries: First, install the station battery to power the host device. Next, install the sensor batteries to operate the individual sensors. Ensure that the specific channel is set correctly by pressing the CHANNEL/+ button until the channel indication is a single flash. Verify that the humidity sensors are closely matched with the console and positioned approximately 1-3 meters apart. Ensure that the sensors agree within a 10% margin (accuracy is ±5%).
Stability: Allow approximately 30 minutes for all sensors to stabilize before making any readings.
Humidity Expression: The large LCD display provides simple and clear readings. The indoor temperature range is 0 - 60°C, outdoor temperature -40 - 60°C, and humidity 10% - 99%. Temperature and humidity accuracy is ±1°C, ±5%, with wet conditions defined as over 65%, COM (Comfortable) as 45%-65%, and dry conditions defined as less than 45%. The display's readings change dynamically according to humidity levels.
Backlight & Battery Life: You can turn on the backlight by pressing the "Light" button. It will automatically turn off after 10 seconds of inactivity, making it easy to read the data at night. If the sensor cannot connect, re-install the battery. The station and transmitter can operate up to 100 meters/328 feet apart, with the station requiring 3 AAAs and the sensor needing 2 AAAs (not included).
Max & Min Record: The device records and displays maximum and minimum values for both temperature and humidity in both indoor and outdoor settings. Data updates every 60 seconds, and you can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit by pressing the ℃/°F button.
Installation: 1. For the station host, open the back cover, place the battery inside, and close the back cover. 2. For the sensor, push the back cover in the direction of the arrow, place the battery inside, and close the back cover.
Battery Replacement: Replace the battery when the sensor displays a low battery icon. This ensures continuous and accurate readings.
The transmitter is not waterproof and should not be placed in the open air. It can be placed on outdoor eaves or in a sheltered location on the transmitter. Avoid exposing the transmitter to rain.
